HomeFinders Animal Rescue Society is a registered not-for-profit organization operating in the Greater Vancouver area of BC, established in 1998. We aim to help all animals, and in the process, educate the public and help control the animal overpopulation problem!

HomeFinders is a no-kill rescue, and we have limited space to take on new pets. A large focus of our rescue involves adopting animals from rural areas of Northern BC into new, loving homes in Vancouver. We care for cats, kitten, dogs, puppies, and rabbits.

Here's how to help :

  • Donate: money, pet supplies, pet food, litter, toys, flea control products,
crates, carriers, pet beds - anything is welcome!
  • Adopt an animal from us!
  • Become a foster home for us - foster homes provide temporary care .
  • Volunteer - we typically need volunteers to help transport supplies or animals, help with care and cleaning at our main foster home in SE Vancouver.

We can always use help and are grateful for all that we receive!

Dog TemplateAll our animals, including kittens and puppies, are spayed or neutered prior to going to new homes in order to help prevent further overpopulation of animals in BC. Besides having them fixed, HomeFinders provides exemplary veterinary care to all animals in our program, including veterinary examination, updating or 1st vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and more.

We give all animals a chance by working with animals who have medical or behavioral problems, and rehabilitating them prior to placing them in new homes.

The majority of our animals are housed in foster homes provided by generous, loving families throughout the lower mainland.
